Great idea, lack of tech support kills it September 5, 2010 David Levy (Fort Washington, PA USA) After the brief maiden voyage, I have had nothing but problems. It seems that if the controller has a blinking green light (as compared to a steady green light) that there is insufficient battery power. A fresh set of Duracell AA lasted only one flight before the dreaded blinking green light. I have tried Powerx rechargeable AAs without success. These Powerez AAs have worked for everything up to this point (including my Airhogs).
The lack of technical support is what kills this product. There is no website, no phone number, nothing. The directions are classic Chinese mis-translated into English; and are lacking any troubleshooting ideas.
While Airhogs maybe more expensive, at least you can get a hold of someone with a question or problem.
Sadly this heli is going back.
If it would only work, this would be a great copter.
Great starter remote controlled helicoper September 5, 2010 Loren D Clevenger For the price of $29 this is a great helicopter, took it to a party and 4-5 people flew for the very first time and all wanted to know how to get one.
Definitely happy with this purchase.
OMG!!!!!!!!!! September 5, 2010 Steak bomb (MA) Buy it! This thing is awsome. It works exactly the way you think it should. Its tuff to. My cat loves it. She bats it right out of the air. Godzilla! I read were some people said it was almost to easy. Not realy. It does respond to your controles. Which seems amazing if you ever flew one of the first micro helicopters, but it is still challenging. It is so small and light that a even someone walking by it will add enough turbulence to buffet the thing around a little. Very fun. The battery seems to last longer than the first generation copters also.
great little and tough heli September 4, 2010 shattaj15 (NYC) wow wow wow.. that all i can say this is my first heli ever that why mines is alittle beat up. and i the forward and backward stop working.. its all my fault tho because i let kids and the i crash sat all the time.. this thing still control great without forward and back.. i swear im now getting good so im buy a new one the same model and from the same seller..i love this thing so much fun.. the metal frame is perfect i crash some horrible crash and still flyes.. i swear i crash alot of time way more that anyone one person. because of the kids. it still fly and cotrol with easy even tho the forward and back motor wire came loose.. which can be fixed but i dont wanna on into it so i buy one and have two.. one for me and one for the kids..
Best thing since canned beer September 2, 2010 Wanderer (Denver, CO USA) These things are a kick. Easy to fly, highly maneuverable and pretty durable considering the pounding they take when you're learning to fly them. Recharge with USB is about 45 minutes for over 5 minutes of flying.
