Packed with hilarious South Park clips, this DVD/trivia game will challenge even the most devoted South Park fans. View larger. | A Hilarious, Interactive Experience With hundreds of video clips, this DVD game will have you and your friends in stitches by the time you're finished playing. Unlike a traditional trivia game, there is no accompanying game board. Instead, the DVD dictates where the game will go. Simply insert the DVD, hit play, and you're ready to play. The game begins with the DVD asking a trivia puzzle. There are a variety of different puzzle categories, but most consist of a video clip and a multiple choice-style question related to the clip. At the end of each puzzle, the DVD will ask if anyone got the correct answer, and will provide additional instructions to the winner (or winners). For scoring purposes, the game has included a set of 98 playing cards. The scoring system is elaborate, and less patient players might choose to enjoy the DVD on its own. Still, the cards add a nice competitive edge to the game. Each player is dealt seven cards and can earn additional cards by solving the DVD puzzles. The objective is to match "boy" cards (featuring Cartman, Kenny, Stan, and Kyle) to other cards related to each of the characters. Different pairings can earn you different amounts of points. For an added strategic element, you can also play "Jesus" or "Satan" cards, which allows you to manipulate the number of cards your opponents hold. Packed with South Park Humor Featuring clips from nearly every episode, the DVD truly does justice to South Park's legacy of irreverence. The show has spanned 19 seasons, and has spoofed almost every pop culture fad and celebrity during that time. Playing the trivia game feels like a trip down memory lane, as you revisit your favorite episodes and remember cultural trends of years past. As for the questions themselves: they range from obvious to obscure. At the very least, you'll need a working memory of the characters' names to be able to participate. Some of the more difficult questions are tough enough to stump even the most fervent followers of South Park. Please keep in mind that the game is intended exclusively for mature audiences 18 and above -- much like the show. What's in the Box DVD, 98 game cards, and instructions sheet.

south park dvd game July 12, 2010 s&g pras (pennsylvania) We bought this as a father's day present. It is very fun. The review for it said that you could only play it until you had gone through the entire dvd once, but we figure that if you go through the dvd (which has 21 separate games to play), and then wait a few years, you could play it again and again. Each game takes a little while to play, as well, but not so long that you want to quit before it is over.
Confusing at first but very fun for true South Park fans February 2, 2010 William (CA) i was extremely confused and overwhelmed while watching the video instructions, but upon playing the game i found it fun, challenging, entertaining, and great for people who have seen all the episodes.
