Best card game ever! August 25, 2010 J.S. Lewis (Northern Virginia) I'm not a big fan of card games, but this is a great card game! Easy to lean and addictive to play. Best if played with at least 3 players; can be played with more than 6 players (total rounds playable will decrease as players increase). Can be played with only two players, but the dame loses some dimensions (unpredictability, fun) that multiple players bring to the table.
Love the game July 18, 2010 Frank Thompson (Ruidoso, New Mexico) The only product downside is that the "clickers"
stop clicking after a few months of heavy play.
Controlled chaos May 29, 2010 Irish Whit (Keene, NH USA) Wizard adds a fun bit of unpredictability to a game that's similar to one we already know how to play, called Up and Down the River. We love it, and bought several boxes to give as gifts. It's easy to learn if you know how to play games with tricks, and the scoring method means that players can change position dramatically each round. The scoring pad makes it easy for players keep track of how many rounds to play, which varies depending on the number of players. We play with family, and even with coworkers at lunch - it's a great game!
Fun, fun, fun April 22, 2010 Maria J. Rasmussen (Pleasant Grove, UT USA) I used to play a different version of this game, and in that version you don't have the "wizard" cards. The game overall is very fun, but I'm not so sure I like the wizards, since they make it so you can't use a lot of strategy in the game. It's mostly luck. I would play it without the wizards, or with only one or two, or maybe change the rules so that the wizard becomes the highest or lowest trump, and it's subject to the trump rules... I just don't like being able to play the wizard at anytime, even if you have the original suit played.
Great game June 8, 2009 Scott Kimber (Utah) This is one of the most fun card games I have ever played. It takes a lot more prediction and guessing than many games I have played before, so experience is a big help, but it is very fun. I recommend it to families, though younger children can really struggle with it.
